You have multiple options:

1. Using on flat surfaces

The switch doesn't need to be mounted on a wall and you can use it on any flat service or even carry it around. This is a very popular option for people who want to have a switch on a table outdoors.

2. Mounting on the wall using sticky dots

In the package, you will find some adhesive materials to place the switches on any wall. These are especially made for the outdoors. You can place the switch on any regular normal walls or materials on wood. The smoother the surface, the better the adhesion.

3. Mounting on the wall using screws

Another option to mount the switch on walls is using screws. Screws are not included inside of the package since the right screw really depends on the type of wall you want to place your switch on. The diameter of the holes for the screws are designed for M4 screws or smaller.
